Great hair dryer. I am leaving 4 stars bc when I received the package it was damaged and there is a scuff on the handle that I cannot get off. The damage only seems to be superficial, but it was still a bit upsetting.

For professional use

I bought this newer model because I have another parlux that I luv. I waited over a month for my color. It's for professional use on busy days I need it on for back to back clients every 30-45 min this one has a nice extra wide nozzle which I luv. The only issue I have or something I have to get used to is the buttons since it's digital I hold my blow drier with my left hand I keep pressing it, there is a lock button but you have to unlock and lock every time to change and not accidently change it also the pressure or temperature. Otherwise I luv it is light weight which I appreciate for a busy day.

Lightweight and low noise

I love how lightweight the dryer is. It also has low noise.
I am trying to get used where the heat and the high medium and low buttons are. It’s easy to change them without knowing .
I feel like it does dry the hair quicker and it looks shinier.
I would have given it 5 stars if the buttons weren’t so easy to change without knowing.

Doesn’t heat up well

First time purchasing a parlux dryer, my baybyliss rápido burn out in my after 6 years , and I saw a lot of rave on the parlux dryers. So I thought to purchase one I got the new ethos , I love how it feels on my hands while holding me, feels great over all, the speed is great and the 10 ft cord is wonderful. The only and most important for me was, it doesn’t heat up to well, unfortunately “heat is a dealbreaker for me” so I am in the process of doing a return. I’m so sad about it cause I was sooo excited and thought this blow dryer was going to be “The One” after doing so many research.

Amazing

Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms below. This policy applies to all hair dryer products sold by Parlux.

1. Eligibility Window

All return, refund, or exchange requests must be submitted within fifteen (15) calendar days of delivery through the official Return & Exchange Request Form.

Requests submitted outside this window will not be accepted.

2. Product Condition & Limited Testing

To be eligible for a return or exchange, products must:

  • Be returned in original, undamaged packaging
  • Include all original accessories, components, manuals, and inserts
  • Be free from damage, residue, moisture, or cosmetic wear

Limited Testing Permitted:
 Customers may briefly power on the hair dryer for functional testing only (e.g., airflow, heat, noise).

Return or exchange eligibility is void if the product shows evidence of:

  • Repeated or extended use beyond basic testing
  • Exposure to hair products, water, or humidity
  • Residue, dust, or internal debris

Any product determined to be used is not eligible for return or exchange.

3. Return & Exchange Authorization (Required)

All returns and exchanges require prior written approval.

To request approval, customers must submit the Return & Exchange Request Form within 15 days of delivery and include:

  • Order number and reason for return or exchange
  • Clear photos of all sides of the product
  • Photos of the original packaging
  • Photos of all included accessories and components

Returns or exchanges sent without approval will be refused and are not eligible for refund or credit.

4. Inspection & Verification

All returned items are subject to inspection for authenticity, completeness, and condition.

Items that fail inspection may be denied, returned to the customer at their expense, or refunded at a reduced amount.

Inspection determinations are final.

5. Exchanges

Approved products may be exchanged within the 15-day eligibility window.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Exchanges are processed only after inspection approval
  • Exchanges are subject to availability

Upon approval, either a store credit will be issued for a new order or a replacement will be shipped after payment of any price difference.

6. Refunds

Approved returns will receive a refund to the original payment method.

Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

7. Defective or Malfunctioning Products

Defective or malfunctioning items must be reported within 15 days of delivery through the Return & Exchange Request Form.

Malfunctions reported after 15 days are handled exclusively through the Parlux 1-Year Limited Warranty and are not eligible for return or exchange.

8. Incorrect Item Claims

Claims for incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Once verified, a prepaid return shipping label will be provided, and the correct item will be shipped after the incorrect item is received and inspected.

9. Delivery & Risk of Loss

Parlux’s responsibility ends once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout.

Parlux is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery, or for shipments delivered to freight forwarders or third-party handling services.

10. Payment Disputes

Customers must follow this policy and receive return authorization before filing any payment dispute.

Disputes may be contested using order records, delivery confirmation, and inspection documentation.

11. Final Authority

Parlux reserves the right to approve or deny all returns, refunds, and exchanges.

What if I don’t have my order number?
An order number is required to process a return or exchange.

If you do not have your order number, we may be able to locate your order using alternate information; however, returns and exchanges cannot be guaranteed without it.
What if my item is defective?
